Common Questions
What’s the age range or age limits for participating in IOC?
There's no official age range or limit, though IOC leadership feels the meet is best suited for quizzers in middle school and high school. However, it's entirely up to coaches and programs to evaluate the maturity level and readiness of their quizzers.
Will there be an adult division?
At this time, we’re not planning an adult division. However, if there are enough adults interested in participating in an adult division, we should have plenty of quiz room options at the camp to run a parallel adult division. If you’re interested in this, please email us at ioc@cbqz.org as soon as possible.
What will be the material for the IOC 2027 meet?
The upper youth division will be the Gospel of John in full. We may deploy material label weights for other divisions depending on the nature and depth of memorization across the set of quizzers who ultimately register.
